Artistic working is a therapeutic form of rehabilitation at the Vaalijala Rehabilitation Center. There has been a revolution of colours: where there once used to be the laundry room of the rehabilitation center there is now the Art Laundry! Art Laundry is a place that offers people needing special support many opportunities and possibilities to make and experience art.

Artistic expression, as a way of rehabilitation in the Art Laundry aims to give people a chance to work in many forms of illustrative art, and at the same time encourage their own special creativity. Artistic expression in the Art Laundry aims to support each individual´s personal growth and self expression, and to encourage people forward in their own and unique art route.
